Week in Beauty #3

For this weeks favourite items, four new products have come into play which is pretty much unheard of in my routine.
First up on the list is the Good Things Five Minute Facial Face Mask £5.99 (100ml) - a gift from my sister (thanks sis!). Now I love a good clay mask. I talk a lot about my oily skin and I find one of the things that really helps clear up excess oil is kaolin clay, an ingredient within this mask. This mask in particular is thicker than the una brennan superfacialist pore purifying clay mask. I also find it leaves my skin feeling a little tight after use but it does a good job of a deeper cleanse and my pores feels less congested.

After using a clay mask, I like to use a toner just to remove any traces of residue left. The Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner - £6.60 (50ml) is one I've been reaching for this week to keep my skin balanced and hydrated. This one feels gentle and refreshing and I've got a real soft spot for elemis products in general at the moment.

Makeup wise, two bargain products are shining. I picked up the New CID i-colour Cream Shadow in moonlight from TK Maxx for just £2. The texture of this is incredible, it feels so smooth, soft and easy to blend. Moonlight is a shimmery white glitter style shadow, which is very sheer. I think it looks really pretty layered over a base.
Another steal is Becca's Soft Touch Blush in Songbird - purchased for £6.94 from this ebay seller. Becca were discontinued a while back in the UK (though they're now available again at Space NK) so a lot of products are popping up on discount sites. I'll have a review shortly of this beauty!

Have you tried any of these products?

  1. I love the sound of the mask. I've seen Good Things in Boots but never tried anything, think I'll have to get my hands on this mask. Love the Becca blush too. They have a lot of products on Fragrance Direct at the min so I'll be trying them for the first time when my delivery comes :) x
