This weeks favourite products comes in the form of some new discoveries alongside some old must haves.
This week, I've been using Illamasqua matte blush in naked rose. The illamasqua matte blushes have a lovely soft texture, great pigmentation and are long wearing. I mentioned other shades in this post.
Sticking with softer, nude shades I've been wearing Seventeen's Mirror Shine Lipstick in nudist peach. The packaging on these has changed since I bought mine but they are really good value for money. They don't wear as long as other lipsticks but they have a nice lightweight formula and a gorgeous glossy sheen.
When it comes to highlighting, my go to this week has been The Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in candlelight - a light champagne powder. I prefer a subtle sheen when it comes to highlighters and this one fits the bill. I'll have a review shortly as it really deserves its own post.
I have trouble finding good mascaras - my own lashes lack length and volume so I need an amazing mascara that blows others out of the water. I've recently been using Cosmetics A La Carte Divine Length Mascara* which featured in January's Love Me Beauty Box. I'm not overly familiar with cosmetics a la carte and its highly unlikely I'd have chosen this mascara myself but I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it performs. It adds both length and definition to my lashes, doesn't smudge or look clumpy. The volume isn't quite as good as Benefits offerings but its still a great mascara in my book.
A skincare product I've become attached to is Una Brennan's Superfacialist Neroli Lift & Hydrate Facial Oil - a wonderfully light pre cleansing oil that feels luxurious and is suitable for oily skin. I love using this before my nightly cream cleanser as it makes my skin feel plumper and smoother. I managed to find this in tkmaxx for half price, which was a surprising bargain!
