Theres something satisfying about finding a dupe of a mid/high end product. Today, I have a great dupe of MAC's Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick.
Cherry crave is a warm toned red with metallic shimmer. Its not quite as creamy as viva glam Rihanna but its highly pigmented. It has more a typical artificial scent compared to the vanilla scent of MAC lipsticks but its not overly strong. Packaging wise, there's a huge difference between the two - viva glam is housed in a dark red bullet case, which feels strong whereas the milani packaging feels like a very cheap light gold plastic. Nevertheless, shade wise they're extremely close. Swatched on my arm, its difficult to tell the difference between the two. On my lips, Milani cherry crave leans much more orange toned and more metallic but they're close and I think it would depend on your skintone and natural lip colour to determine the difference between them. MAC lipsticks are now £15.50 but obviously all profits from viva glam go to aids/HIV charities. Milani lipsticks are half the price - Milani isn't available in the UK so I purchased mine from Ebay from this US seller.
