Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Blush Palette

In my haul post yesterday, I mentioned purchasing this super cute Benefit Set. I love the sets they release at this time of year as its a good way to try a few products in one kit. I think every year, I hope for a blusher palette and this year my prayers have been answered. The Cheeky Sweet Spot Set is a metal tin in the style of a festive sweet shop. Inside, there are five blushers, bronzer and highlighter.

The blushes are deluxe mini sized versions including Dandelion - a pale pink blush, Bella Bamba - watermelon pink with gold shimmer, Sugarbomb - peachy blush, Hoola - matte bronzer, Coralista - coral pink blush and Rockateur - rose gold blush.
Theres also a mini Watts Up! - a champagne gold cream highlighter and a mini blush brush.

swatches: dandelion / bella bamba / sugarbomb

hoola / coralista / rockateur

watts up!

The textures of the powders is soft and smooth, particularly on dandelion, rockateur and hoola. The shimmer blushes are slightly more powdery but not overly so. Watts up is a subtle highlighter. I had to layer it up to swatch it. I usually prefer powder highlighters but I think this would look nice used over the cheeks and under the brow bone. Overall, this is a great little set. Its £29.50, which I don't think is too bad considering you're getting 7 mini sized versions of the product in here and a brush. I imagine this set will sell out fairly quickly as it really is the standout Benefit set this year. Its currently available online at feelunique with free worldwide shipping but I found mine instore at Debenhams.

  1. This is lovely - think it'll be on my Christmas list this year! Really want to get my hands on their advent calendar too but not sure if it'll be worth the money.

  3. This is a great idea, I like the benefit blushers but the price puts me off seeing as I don't really wear blush, this would be a great product for me and it's reasonably priced!

  7. This set really intrigues me. That being said, I already have a few of the products in this set in full-size, so I don't know if I'll purchase it. Your swatches are beautiful!

  8. Mum just ordered me one from Boots for Christmas at £24.50, saving £9! Doesn't look like it is a promotional offer either! I can't wait till Christmas Day now!

  10. This is such a great palette, especially for someone like me, who doesn't have any benefit blush yet (shocker). The one I'd like to try the most is Rockateur and Hoola bronzer. x

  12. I absolutely love the little sets they bring out for Christmas too, it's such a great way of trying out products before buying the full size. This looks like such a gorgeous one, I can see it selling out pretty quickly.

  13. This is so pretty, I am always obsessed with Benefit's Christmas sets. There are so many of their boxed powders I've yet to try, so this is perfect.

  21. I love this so, so much! I once had a travel sized trio of Benefit blushes, and loved them all - I really want to try this! I do wish it had Dallas in though - that's probably my favourite blush from them!

  29. This is so, so cute! And such a great way to try out the Benefit blushes. I already have two of the six, so I'm not convinced it's a great idea for me to get it (though I still want it...) Have you seen the tarte blush palette? That also looks amazing...
