As Autumn approaches, I like to change my makeup and switch a few things up. Darker lips always look really classy at this time of year. As I don't wear dark lips very often, I prefer budget lipsticks rather than splashing out. I have three amazing lipsticks at the moment and I'm sure I'll be using them in the weeks to come.
This is a really easy to wear lipstick if you're a newbie to dark lip shades. Berry smoothie is a pale pink/berry shade with a balm like texture. Lip Butters are so comfortable to wear if you suffer from dry lips as they feel a bit more moisturising than your standard lipstick. As this shade is lighter in pink tone, it would suit a range of complexions, even if you're really pale.
The Kate Moss line for rimmel have some really great lipsticks. Unfortunately they don't have names (surely it wouldnt take them 5 minutes to come up with a name?!) 030 is a dark berry/wine shade with a velvet matte finish. The matte texture is creamy and highly pigmented - its comfortable to wear and fairly long lasting.
Raspberry pie is a true berry shade with pink undertone. Despite the buttery/balmy texture its incredibly pigmented, though I find not as long lasting as other shades. Its an easy to wear shade and again would suit a range of complexions.
Swatches: Revlon Berry Smoothie | Kate Moss 030 | Revlon Raspberry Pie
